Trauma Survivors & Autistic Adults

My clients are mostly either trauma survivors – typically childhood, military, family or sexual trauma – or they are adults who live with symptoms of autism. Indeed, many people arrive in my office with symptoms of both neurodiversity and trauma.

The foundation of all my clinical thinking is a book called The Body Keeps the Score, by Bessel van der Kolk. For people with autism, just living in the world can easily be traumatic.
